Benefits & HR Operations Coordinator
Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Benefits & HR Coordinator to support the execution of core People Operations activities, with primary ownership of benefits administration. This role partners closely with the HR Director to ensure accurate, compliant, and employee-centered delivery of benefits, onboarding, and HR operational processes.

The Benefits & HR Coordinator is an execution-focused role that provides critical support across the employee lifecycle while serving as a subject-matter resource for employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  Own administration of employee benefit programs, including enrollments, life event changes, audits, and annual open enrollment.
 

  Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and vendor coordination.
 

  Support benefits-related compliance activities, including ACA tracking and retirement plan audits.
 

  Coordinate onboarding activities, including pre-hire screenings and new hire orientation.
 

  Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within HR systems.
 

  Provide operational HR support and assist the HR Director with HR programs, reporting, and process improvements.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  2–5 years of experience in Human Resources, with hands-on experience administering employee benefits.

  Working knowledge of employee benefit plans, enrollment processes, and benefits compliance requirements.

  Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  Experience leading annual open enrollment.

  Experience working with benefits brokers and vendors.

  Experience in a consulting, technology, or professional services environment.

 

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $70,000–$80,000 USD, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. This range represents the company’s good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation and rewards, including discretionary bonuses, based on individual and company performance.

Location/Remote Work Eligibility
